STATUE SPOTTING

Boston is known to have many statues...so I decided since I had some time I would check out a couple... The first statue you have to check out in any American city is the statue of George Washington...Here he is riding on his horse...looking very much like the military leader he proved to be...Then I sat and thought about what other statue could I see that would surprize me...(the fella behind me just sat there silently so I had to come up with it on my own...)
I decided on the statue commemorating the discovery that inhaling Ether can ease the suffering of those in pain...In this picture above you can just barely make out the older man rubbing the ether on the ailing mans chest...this is the oldest statue in Boston's Public Garden...presented to the city in 1868...I tried to take a few pix and put them together so you can see the whole monument.

Hey! thanks for adding me as your international friend. Would it be very difficult for me and my boyfriend to get a job in a tv station in the usa? Spanish-speaking one, I guess

Ghalia - Thanks for joining me on my blog...

Ruth - Yes you probably could get a job in most places at a spanish language station...most of our southern markets have them and all the large markets do to accomodate the spanish speaking population...
There is Univision and one other...The market I came from and the market I am in have local news teams for their spanish television...let me know where you would be looking.
