Amman, Jordan

I was struck when I heard that Amman Jordan was attacked today...I was Text Messaging Hooter back and forth and hoping that my new friend from there was ok...I thought about it all the way home from work and went online first emailing her and then checking her posts for the day...I was relieved to find that she is only affected in spirit...(I wrote more on Dusty's Thinking 2.0 since I try to keep this blog pretty light)

We were all struck by what had happened, Dusty. From the heart of Amman I can assure you that every individual present, be that person a Jordanian or a non-Jordanian, is deeply saddened.

Yet Jordanians do not stand alone in the face of this tragedy. Friends like you and like Hooter made me feel that despite the fact that crime has no ideology or religion, human unity is above it.

Endless thanks go out to good people like you and Hooter, and a personal thank you note from me to you for checking up on me. I was, and still am, profoundly touched.
