24 Hour Diner

There is a wonderful thing called a "24 Hour Diner" The Red Arrow Diner is on of these magical places...It was selected as one of the Top Ten Diners in America by USA Today a while back and so Heather and I chose to go there for Heather's Birthday breakfast...
Once you got inside you could see the waitstaff bustling behind the counters to get everyone's orders served PRONTO...after standing in the doorway waiting for some seats we sat at the bar and met Elaine, the woman who would be serving us...She tells me that if the food doesn't come out in 20 minutes she goes back there to give them a piece of her mind...It came out in about 6 minutes...The people sitting next to us (wearing NE Patriots garb from head to toe) told us about the famed cream pies they serve here...and we found out that the diner is open every day, every hour except 16 hours on Christmas eve...Elaine told us that on each holiday they sell about 800 pies and that only one lady makes them...
we decided to wait until Thanksgiving for the pies and ordered some of their popular dishes...Mine was the Kielbasa and Eggs, and Heather ordered the Pork Pie with Eggs...Now I know why the people seated next to us choose to come here every Sunday...Mmmmm
